A detail: the blue bird
In Persian, morgh-e eghbal is the bird of fortune. Old stories say that wherever its shadow falls, luck follows.
In this detail it doesn’t look like a bird of fortune at all. It’s small, turned away, and almost blends into the dusty pinks and greys around it. The blue is pressed into the canvas in a few dense strokes, with a single thread of rust-red along its back. That thread is the only warm line in the whole corner.
Maybe that’s how fortune shows up: not as a sign in the sky, but as something quiet you notice only when you stop and look closely.
